Maine Recycling is seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Operator to join our team at our fast-paced bottle and aluminum can recycling facility in Lisbon Falls, Maine. You will be responsible for loading and unloading large bales of recycled aluminum, plastic, and cardboard. You must possess good hand-eye coordination, and be attentive to detail.

Responsibilities:

Being at work on time and maintaining satisfactory attendance.
Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
Loading bales of processed returnable bottles, cans, and cardboard for shipment.
Ensuring that loads are secure before transport.
Ensuring the proper and safe operating condition of the forklift.
Adhering to forklift operation safety standards.

Position Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be in good physical condition.
Must be able to understand and follow instructions.
Must be able to lift and carry heavy items, as required.
Possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Starting Pay: Negotiable, depending on experience.
